Alimony Reform Bill passes the Senate and heads to Christie A845 A971 A1649
New Jersey’s alimony law could soon be getting a major facelift.
An alimony reform bill (substitute to A845 A971 A1649 ) to make major changes to the law passed the state Senate in a 32-2 vote on 06-30-2014 and is now is now on Gov. Chris Christie’s desk awaiting signature.
Thomas Leustek, president of New Jersey Alimony Reform, said the bill was “much less than what we were hoping for” but that he supported it.
